Returns & Refunds Policy

Every Scottish Gift Cards order is a digital gift, delivered by email — usually within a few minutes of your order being confirmed. Because there is nothing physical to post back, our returns policy works a little differently from a traditional shop.

Here is exactly how it works.

Digital products and your right to cancel

Everything we send is delivered digitally: your personalised gift card, the title deed to a square inch of the Bandrum Estate, and the recipient’s welcome as an InchKeeper. Delivery begins as soon as your payment is confirmed.

Under UK consumer law, digital products that are supplied immediately are exempt from the usual 14-day cooling-off period, provided you agree to that immediate delivery at checkout.

By completing your purchase, you are asking us to deliver your gift straight away and you acknowledge that the right to cancel no longer applies once delivery has begun.

For this reason, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges simply because you have changed your mind after your order has been delivered.

If something has gone wrong

We want every InchKeeper to be delighted with their gift. If any of the following happen, please get in touch within 5 days of your order and we will put it right

  • Your order has not arrived in the recipient’s (or your) inbox.
  • Your gift card or deed has a technical fault, or the file will not open.
  • You have been sent the wrong product.

We will resolve it by re-sending your order, correcting the details, or issuing a refund where appropriate.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which require digital content to be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.

Personalised gifts

Each gift card and deed is personalised using the names and details you enter at checkout, so please double-check everything before you complete your order. If we make a mistake, we will correct it free of charge. If there is an error in the details you supplied, we are unable to correct this after checkout.
